One of the best parts of exploring Montreal’s local food scene is stumbling upon places that truly care about quality and service. On my latest visit to Atwater Market, I finally stopped by Boucherie de Tours, a well-known butcher shop that has been serving the community for years.

Friendly, Knowledgeable Service

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to help, offering recommendations and answering my questions about their selection. Whether you’re a seasoned home cook or just starting to explore high-quality meats, they make the experience approachable and enjoyable.

A Selection Worth Exploring

Boucherie de Tours specializes in traditional French-style butchery, offering everything from beautifully marbled steaks to house-made charcuterie. Their commitment to quality is evident in every cut, making it a great spot for sourcing ingredients for a special meal.

Why Visit?

Expert advice – The butchers are happy to suggest cuts, cooking techniques, or even recipes.

Top-quality products – From fresh meats to prepared specialties, everything is chosen with care.

A true local gem – Supporting local butchers helps preserve traditional craftsmanship and ensures access to high-quality, ethically sourced products.

I left with a few delicious selections and already have plans to return. If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend stopping by next time you’re at Atwater Market!
